Positive Post #13

February 14, 2018

I bet you were expecting something reference Valentine’s Day.  Something about love, eternal, love, visionary, love, or love of love.

Well….

It’s sort of a post like that. Kind of, maybe, at least it’s a variation of that concept.

It’s a list of links to Five things I really like.

  1. This TED talk about the universe.  Jedidah Isler first fell in love with the night sky as a little girl. Now she’s an astrophysicist who studies supermassive hyperactive black holes
  2. This YouTube video about the youngest poetry slam winner in Australia. Solli Raphael poetry slam winner in Australia
  3. This video that got me hooked on Lindsey Stirling’s awesome violin music. Lindsey Stirling – Dubstep Violin original song
  4. This Photo of the Green Tree Frog (not my photo) an animal I really like. It’s cute. The photo is from this page that has the details of this cute little one –
  5. And lastly here is a link to check out the incredible Fairy Art of Amy Brown .

Have great Wednesday!

Monday Museful Musings

Hello Monday and a Happy Afternoon to all!

A little museful poetic aside for you today.

Enjoy.

A Nap

by Joelle Wilson

Today I am moving at a snail’s pace,

I woke up tired with a lack luster expression

on my face and as I try and try

I just can’t seem to wipe the sleep

out from my eyes,

and I really need to

I have things I want to do,

wish all I had to was raise up

my fingers and snap,

but I think what I’ll do is

just nap.

The Last Magnetic Monday

Yes you read the title correctly. This is the last Magnetic Monday post. Not the last one forever, just for now.

What can I say? I like change. Magnetic Monday was great for a couple of months but now, I need something different.

Not sure what the change is yet, but I’ll know for sure before next Monday rolls into view.

For now though…..

wild, animal, perfect, sleep.

Those are the words that caught my eye this morning.

I find myself wandering today

across this landscape of

laughter and broken promises.

And inside I feel the

call of my heart.

This once perfect shell

I built around me to protect me

only served to keep me

in a state of perfect sleep.

Now though,

I feel myself waking to

the new possibilities

of life.

the haze is lifting

and I feel the first

stirrings of a

wild animal

in my soul.

Hope you find some hidden treasures this week and remember to make your Monday marvelous. 🙂

p.s. thanks for stopping by

Pleasure, Find, Movement, Fever

Hello out there in the cyber world and beyond. 🙂

Today’s post title reflects the words I picked up when I shook out the magnetic words and randomly selected four of them. Well, randomly chosen as they caught my eye.

Pleasure, Find, Movement, Fever.

Those four words bring a lot of images to mind when I read them and say them out loud.

Those words also bring to mind and body certain feelings as I read them and say them out loud.

Sometimes conveying those images and feelings into words that also convey them to you, is a bit of a challenge. I like challenges. So here I go.

The sultry, silky movements of chocolate gliding,

melting, and caressing my taste buds damn near

brings on a fever in both my body and soul.

Similar to the pleasure of your hands whispering across

my skin.

Eyes fluttering shut as memories rush in, taking over my senses and

making the world hush its chaotic movement.

And for just this moment I find a sense of inner peace as I slowly

unwrap another Dove chocolate.

Enjoy the rest of your day and week. 🙂

P.S. Thanks to all of you who follow the random hopping, skipping and word play on my blog. You make writing much more of a pleasure. 🙂

Busy Busy Busy……………………..

Today’s post title sums up my day today.

But I don’t mind it……………….too much.

Except…

That I Forgot…(oops)

That today is Magnetic Monday. The last one in March.

It’s a bit later than I usually post but I did remember it…finally…a..bit…late. 🙂

The words today are:

moonlight, madness, corpse, love, whispers, terrifying, soft.

You see.. I mixed together the words for the zombie set and the regular set. Ha!

So here it goes:

the terrifying moonlight

shows the corpse as it whispers

in soft love

to the madness that has

claimed it’s humanity in the moonlight.

Hmmmm……

Anyway,

Have a great week.

If any zombies try to whispers to you in the madness of moonlight, I’d run away. Really. 😉
